We were looking to remodel our master bathroom, and were referred to New Cali by a friend. Our experience remodeling our guest bathroom a year prior had been a rough experience, and we were not totally pleased with the result -- so we were dubious going into this project.

New Cali met and exceeded all expectations. After submitting a request for a quote online, Asaf contacted me with a detailed quote same day and was already asking thoughtful questions that we hadn't thought about ourselves (we are construction novices). We had a very limited time table as we both work full time, and Asaf made sure our project was started and completed within our window. Each step of the way, we had clear communication between Asaf and the project manager Caesar. We were always kept informed of the project status and next steps. There was a plan every single day! Asaf pulled all the permits, and coordinated the inspections. The project manager was on-site for all inspections, and talked me through the results.

We really appreciated that Asaf and his team advised us as we chose fixtures and materials.

Overall, our New Cali experience was smooth, professional and dare I say pleasant! They absolutely exceeded expectations and we will not hesitate to use them again for all of our remodeling needs.

There was a huge crack in the ceiling of our garage. We were told we needed a framing contractor and were lucky enough to call New Cali who did a great job. They cut the ceiling open and reinforced the beams before installing new drywall and getting it all back into perfect condition. They came quickly after we called, were able to start the work promptly and finished ahead of schedule. We were so happy with the work we hired them for a second job fixing some drywall in our kitchen.

We previously hired Asaf and New Cali Construction for the first part of our home renovation (kitchen, flooring and powder room) and were very happy with the end product. When we were prepared to renovate our bathrooms, we again reached out to Asaf, in addition to other contractors to do our due diligence. After meeting with several other contractors, we knew our initial instincts of working with New Cali were again correct. We were reminded of the importance of having a contractor who is respectful, responsive and honest.

With kids at home, it was important for us to know in advance when certain things were going to be done and Asaf, unprompted, provided us updates regularly so that we could make plans as needed and his crew was very respectful of the occupied living spaces. The team completed the project within the estimated time frame despite obstacles with inspections in the setting of the pandemic and minor plumbing issues that arose which were quickly and thoroughly addressed by the team.

We have heard nightmare contractor stories with project delays because crews get diverted to other projects, lack of response or completely disappear after payment before completing touch-ups or even demands for upfront payment before any work is done. We are so thankful to have found Asaf and New Cali Construction as we never experienced any of these nightmare scenarios working with them.

Asaf made the process seamless from start to finish and we would absolutely work with him again in the future and recommend him to our friends and family.
